Gareth Floyd

Biographical Details

Gareth Floyd was born into a musical family and has tinkled the ivories since he was tall enough to reach the keyboard, when his father Dave an established pro, was rehearsing.

It soon became clear that Gareth was unusually talented and sailed through all the standard musical grades with amazing ease. As he progressed he developed his own irrepressible style which has brought him to the attention of several major producers.

He has recently completed several backing tracks for Nick Charles MBE whose autobiography is to be made into a feature film. His work is currently playing a major part in the films pre-production.

His next project is background music and special effects for an educational DVD production for the BBC.
Meanwhile, Gareth continues to record and perform live both solo and backing other artists.
