Sally Thomsett


Biographical Details

Sally Thomsett's first major movie "The Railway Children" - the 1971 Royal Premier - won her the BAFTA nomination as "best newcomer". She was subsequently chosen by director Sam Peckinpah to appear in "Straw Dogs" alongside Dustin Hoffmann, David Warner and Susan George.

Sally is, however, best known for her starring role as the dizzy blonde "Jo" in the top comedy TV series "Man about the House".

With the 25 years experience in showbusiness, after a couple of years working in America Sally returned, energised to pursue her successful film and TV career with the youthful vitality and professionalism, which has become her trade mark
